Gospel Rapper Miles Minnick: God Says To Come As You Are

Gaelika Brown

California Bay Area rapper Miles Minnick shares his Christian testimony. Miles talks about being a teen dad, using and selling drugs, and the Biblical roles of marriage is reversed.

Additionally, he breaks down "Yee" featuring Wande, "Glo Time", "Show Out" featuring Hulvey, and "W.Y.T" featuring Nobigdyl. in the 4-song-breakdown.

In High School, he started a rap group, and in his first performance with the group, they won a rap competition.  Later, he performed a gospel rap song which put him on the map in the Christian music industry.

During the pandemic outbreak in 2020, he speaks on how he benefited tremendously from that year.

He reached a point where he questioned why he chose to do music.  “I do music in hopes that it will bring people closer to God and make their lives better. “

Since then he has put in work creating gospel rap music, music videos, and pushing his message and music out into the world.

This interview shares a great story of how someone could start out early in their career serving as a youth pastor and transition into a gospel rapper.
